This flower has a unique name ‘Grandmother Flower’ because it has silver hair all around and the flower is facing down like how grandmothers’ back is bent.
It is hard to find flowers even in Korea.
I only saw it once when I was very young.
I only have limited availability.
Plant in sandy soil where water drains well.
Plant in mid spring to early summer.
After sowing, cover lightly with soil.
It takes one whole year from planting until it flowers.
It naturally has only 60% of germination rate.
