I present my new artwork “A Planet in a Flowerbed,” a captivating metal sculpture that transcends traditional garden decor. This really large 23″ sphere, elevated on a metal rod, is a testament to meticulous hand-welding craftsmanship.

The sphere consists of two layers welded from metal wire. The first layer mirrors planetary meridians with a precise geometric structure, while the second layer mimics latitudinal lines deliberately crafted in non-parallel fashion, bending and intersecting with the meridians at various angles. This meticulous design results in a stunning mosaic effect.
Symbolizing a Young Planet in Growth, the sculpture stands on a rod, representing a sprout and have one leaf.
